First post! I've been using CoolTerm on Windows for ages and love it, thank you!
I just installed it on a RaspberryPi 3B+ and I'm seeing some strange behavior. When viewing the data in chart view, it receives about 5k bytes of data and then the chart stops updating. When running in plain or hex view it runs fine. I pushed the buffer up to 1GB and the system has plenty of resources available.
Any suggestions?

Re: CoolTerm Chart Freeze on RaspberryPi 3B+
Thanks for posting.
Is it just becoming very very slow, or is completely stopping and never recovering? The only (and limited) testing I have done with the Pi build is with a Pi4+. I wonder if the Pi3 might be underpowered. How often do you receive new data? is it coming a at a quick rate? How does the CPU load look like while CoolTerm is in Chart mode?
