Hi,
First of all, thanks for releasing CoolTerm as freeware. It's very neat terminal application.I've started using Coolterm for a hobby project and I really like the user interface.
There is just one minor improvement I'd like to suggest. In my micro controller application I'm using the bell character (0x07) pretty frequently, i.e. to signal that the command line buffer is full or that it is empty in case of a backspace. It would be nice if Coolterm would interpret a 0x07 character and trigger an audio signal.
Regards,
HSW

Interpretation of the bell character should be an easy thing to add. I will look into it. Thanks for the feedback.

The latest beta (b1) is on the server and ready for testing, and it supports the bell character.
Let me know how it works for you.

Sweet!
The current beta is basically feature complete, i.e. unless there are any show stoppers that come up during the beta trials, I think it's ready to be released soon.
