Would be nice to have \t handled better in CoolTerm

Hi Roger,
currently I am using CoolTerm for a debug session on my project and realized that a tabulator char '\t' is treated as non printable char which is (optionally) converted to '.' or even skipped,. Would be nice to get some indent rather (4 or 8 or even customizable number if spaces). Probably this idea is useful for others, too. I am using tabs get some structured log output.
